NGC 6340

NGC 6340 is an unbarred spiral galaxy in the constellation Draco. The galaxy is approximately 55 million light years away. NGC 6340 is considered very old and believed to be the result of a merger between and early type galaxy and a spiral galaxy billions of years ago.
