      This picture is the combined result of hundreds of 30sec pictures all superimposed on each other. In fact the camera was taking pictures non stop during the night. The stars that you see in real time are like tiny points, but as the stars move around in the sky (in fact this is the effect of the Earth’s rotation), the result of all exposures combined are ‘circular lines’. Close to the center of these circles is the Pole star.
